Ang Ikatlong Pagpapakita ni Jesus
21 Pagkatapos nito, muling nagpakita si Jesus sa mga alagad sa tabi ng Lawa ng Tiberias. Ganito ang nangyari: 2 magkakasama sina Simon Pedro, Tomas na tinatawag na Kambal, Nathanael na taga-Cana sa Galilea, ang mga anak ni Zebedeo, at dalawa pang alagad. 3 Sinabi(A) sa kanila ni Simon Pedro, “Mangingisda ako.”
“Sasama kami,” sabi nila.
Umalis nga sila at sumakay sa isang bangka. Magdamag silang nangisda, subalit wala silang nahuli. 4 Nang mag-uumaga na, tumayo si Jesus sa pampang ngunit siya'y hindi nila nakilala. 5 Sinabi niya, “Mga anak, mayroon ba kayong huli?”
“Wala po,” sagot nila.
6 “Ihulog(B) ninyo ang lambat sa gawing kanan ng bangka at makakahuli kayo,” sabi ni Jesus.
Inihulog nga nila ang lambat at nang hilahin nila ito ay hindi nila makaya sa dami ng huli. 7 Sinabi kay Pedro ng alagad na minamahal ni Jesus, “Ang Panginoon iyon!”
Nang marinig ni Simon Pedro na ang Panginoon iyon, nagsuot siya ng damit dahil nakahubad siya noon at saka lumusong sa tubig. 8 Dumating sa pampang ang kasama niyang mga alagad, sakay ng bangka at hila-hila ang lambat na puno ng isda. Hindi sila gaanong malayo sa pampang, mga siyamnapung metro lamang. 9 Pagkaahon nila sa pampang, nakakita sila roon ng isdang iniihaw sa nagbabagang uling, at ilang tinapay. 10 “Magdala kayo rito ng ilang isdang nahuli ninyo,” sabi ni Jesus. 11 Kaya't sumampa sa bangka si Simon Pedro at hinila sa pampang ang lambat na puno ng malalaking isda; isandaan at limampu't tatlo lahat ang nahuli nila. Hindi nasira ang lambat, kahit ganoon karami ang mga isda. 12 “Halikayo at mag-agahan kayo,” sabi ni Jesus. Isa man sa mga alagad ay hindi nangahas magtanong sa kanya kung sino siya sapagkat alam nila na siya ang Panginoon. 13 Lumapit si Jesus, kinuha ang tinapay at ibinigay sa kanila. Ganoon din ang kanyang ginawa sa isda.
14 Ito ang ikatlong pagpapakita ni Jesus sa mga alagad pagkatapos na siya'y muling mabuhay.
Pakainin Mo ang Aking mga Tupa
15 Pagkakain nila, tinanong ni Jesus si Simon Pedro, “Simon, anak ni Juan, iniibig mo ba ako nang higit sa mga ito?”
“Opo, Panginoon, alam ninyong mahal ko kayo,” tugon niya.
Sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Kung gayon pakainin mo ang aking mga batang tupa.” 16 Muli siyang tinanong ni Jesus, “Simon, anak ni Juan, iniibig mo ba ako?”
Sumagot si Pedro, “Opo, Panginoon, alam ninyong mahal ko kayo.” Sabi ni Jesus, “Alagaan mo ang aking mga tupa.”
17 Pangatlong ulit na tinanong siya ni Jesus, “Simon, anak ni Juan, mahal mo ba ako?”
Nalungkot si Pedro sapagkat tatlong beses siyang tinanong ng, “Mahal mo ba ako?”
At sumagot siya, “Panginoon, alam po ninyo ang lahat ng bagay; alam ninyong mahal ko kayo.”
Sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Pakainin mo ang aking mga tupa. 18 Pakatandaan mo: noong bata ka pa, ikaw ang nagbibihis sa iyong sarili at pumupunta ka kung saan mo gusto. Ngunit pagtanda mo, iuunat mo ang iyong mga kamay at iba ang magbibihis sa iyo at dadalhin ka kung saan hindi mo gusto.” 19 Sinabi niya ito upang ipahiwatig kung paano mamamatay si Pedro at kung paano niya luluwalhatiin ang Diyos. Pagkatapos, sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Sumunod ka sa akin!”
Ang Alagad na Minamahal ni Jesus
20 Lumingon(C) si Pedro at nakita niyang sumusunod ang alagad na minamahal ni Jesus, ang siyang humilig sa dibdib ni Jesus nang sila'y naghahapunan at nagtanong, “Panginoon, sino po ang magkakanulo sa inyo?” 21 Nang makita siya ni Pedro ay tinanong nito si Jesus, “Panginoon, paano po naman ang taong ito?”
22 Sumagot si Jesus, “Kung nais kong mabuhay siya hanggang sa pagbabalik ko, ano sa iyo? Sumunod ka sa akin!” 23 Kumalat sa mga kapatid sa pananampalataya ang balitang hindi mamamatay ang alagad na ito. Ngunit hindi naman sinabi ni Jesus na hindi siya mamamatay, kundi, “Kung nais kong mabuhay siya hanggang sa pagbabalik ko, [ano sa iyo]?[a]”
24 Siya ang alagad na nagpapatotoo tungkol sa mga bagay na ito; siya rin ang sumulat ng mga ito at alam naming totoo ang kanyang pahayag.
Pagwawakas
25 At marami pang ginawa si Jesus na kung isusulat lahat, sa palagay ko'y hindi magkakasya kahit sa buong daigdig ang mga aklat na maisusulat.

21 (A)Dopo queste cose, Gesú si manifestò di nuovo ai discepoli presso il mar di Tiberiade; e si manifestò in questa maniera.
2 *Simon *Pietro, *Tommaso detto Didimo, *Natanaele di Cana di *Galilea, i figli di Zebedeo e due altri dei suoi discepoli erano insieme. 3 Simon Pietro disse loro: «Vado a pescare». Essi gli dissero: «Veniamo anche noi con te». Uscirono e salirono sulla barca; e quella notte non presero nulla. 4 Quando già era mattina, Gesú si presentò sulla riva; i discepoli però non sapevano che era Gesú. 5 Allora Gesú disse loro: «Figlioli, avete del pesce?» Gli risposero: «No». 6 Ed egli disse loro: «Gettate la rete dal lato destro della barca e ne troverete». Essi dunque la gettarono, e non potevano piú tirarla su per il gran numero di pesci. 7 Allora il discepolo che Gesú amava disse a Pietro: «È il Signore!» Simon Pietro, udito che era il Signore, si cinse la veste, perché era nudo, e si gettò in mare. 8 Ma gli altri discepoli vennero con la barca, perché non erano molto distanti da terra (circa duecento *cubiti[a]) trascinando la rete con i pesci.
9 Appena scesero a terra, videro là della brace e del pesce messovi su, e del pane. 10 Gesú disse loro: «Portate qua dei pesci che avete preso ora». 11 Simon Pietro allora salí sulla barca e tirò a terra la rete piena di centocinquantatré grossi pesci; e benché ce ne fossero tanti, la rete non si strappò. 12 Gesú disse loro: «Venite a far colazione». E nessuno dei discepoli osava chiedergli: «Chi sei?» Sapendo che era il Signore. 13 Gesú venne, prese il pane e lo diede loro; e cosí anche il pesce.
14 Questa era già la terza volta che Gesú si manifestava ai suoi discepoli, dopo esser risuscitato dai morti.
Gesú e Pietro
15 (B)Quand'ebbero fatto colazione, Gesú disse a Simon Pietro: «Simone di Giovanni, mi ami piú di questi?» Egli rispose: «Sí, Signore, tu sai che ti voglio bene». Gesú gli disse: «Pasci i miei agnelli». 16 Gli disse di nuovo, una seconda volta: «Simone di Giovanni, mi ami?» Egli rispose: «Sí, Signore; tu sai che ti voglio bene». Gesú gli disse: «Pastura le mie pecore». 17 Gli disse la terza volta: «Simone di Giovanni, mi vuoi bene?» Pietro fu rattristato che egli avesse detto la terza volta: «Mi vuoi bene?» E gli rispose: «Signore, tu sai ogni cosa; tu conosci che ti voglio bene». Gesú gli disse: «Pasci le mie pecore. 18 In verità, in verità ti dico che quand'eri piú giovane, ti cingevi da solo e andavi dove volevi; ma quando sarai vecchio, stenderai le tue mani e un altro ti cingerà e ti condurrà dove non vorresti». 19 Disse questo per indicare con quale morte avrebbe glorificato Dio. E, dopo aver parlato cosí, gli disse: «Seguimi».
Il discepolo che Gesú amava
20 (C)Pietro, voltatosi, vide venirgli dietro il discepolo che Gesú amava; quello stesso che durante la cena stava inclinato sul seno di Gesú e aveva detto: «Signore, chi è che ti tradisce?» 21 Pietro dunque, vedutolo, disse a Gesú: «Signore, e di lui che sarà?» 22 Gesú gli rispose: «Se voglio che rimanga finché io venga, che t'importa? Tu, seguimi». 23 Per questo motivo si sparse tra i fratelli la voce che quel discepolo non sarebbe morto; Gesú però non gli aveva detto che non sarebbe morto, ma: «Se voglio che rimanga finché io venga, che t'importa?»
24 Questo è il discepolo che rende testimonianza di queste cose, e che ha scritto queste cose; e noi sappiamo che la sua testimonianza è vera.
25 Or vi sono ancora molte altre cose che Gesú ha fatte; se si scrivessero a una a una, penso che il mondo stesso non potrebbe contenere i libri che se ne scriverebbero.

Fish for Breakfast with the Risen One
21 After these things, Yeshua revealed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. Now here is how He appeared. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in the Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two of the other disciples were together.
3 Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.”
“We’re coming with you too,” they said. They went out and got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
4 At dawn, Yeshua stood on the beach; but the disciples didn’t know that it was Yeshua. 5 So Yeshua said to them, “Boys, you don’t happen to have any fish, do you?”
“No,” they answered Him.
6 He said to them, “Throw the net off the right side of the boat, and you’ll find some.” So they threw the net, and they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish.
7 Therefore the disciple whom Yeshua loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer garment around himself—for he was stripped down for work—and threw himself into the sea. 8 But the other disciples came in the boat from about two hundred cubits[a] offshore, dragging the net full of fish.
9 So when they got out onto the land, they saw a charcoal fire with fish placed on it, and bread. 10 Yeshua said to them, “Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught.” 11 Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to shore. There were 153 fish, many of them big; but the net was not broken. 12 Yeshua said to them, “Come, have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing it was the Lord. 13 Yeshua comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, and likewise the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Yeshua was revealed to the disciples after He was raised from the dead.
Love Restores Peter
15 When they had finished breakfast, Yeshua said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said to Him, “You know that I love you.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs!”
16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Take care of My sheep!”
17 He said to him a third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”
Peter was grieved because He said to him for a third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know everything! You know that I love You!”
Yeshua said to him, “Feed My sheep!”[b]
18 “Amen, amen I tell you, when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.” 19 Now this He said to indicate by what kind of death Peter was going to glorify God. And after this, Yeshua said to him, “Follow Me!”
20 Peter, turning around, sees the disciple following. This was the one whom Yeshua loved, who also had reclined against Yeshua’s chest at the seder meal and said, “Master, who is the one who is betraying You?” 21 Seeing him, Peter said to Yeshua, “Lord, what about him?”
22 Yeshua said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!” 23 Therefore this saying went out among the brothers and sisters, that this disciple would not die. Yet Yeshua did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”
John’s Witness
24 This is the disciple who is an eyewitness of these things and wrote these things. We know that his testimony is true. 25 There are also many other things that Yeshua did. If all of them were to be written one by one, I suppose that not even the world itself will have room for the books being written!
