Ang Muling Pagkabuhay ni Jesus(A)
20 Madilim-dilim pa nang unang araw ng sanlinggo, pumunta si Maria Magdalena sa libingan. Naratnan niyang naalis na ang batong nakatakip sa libingan. 2 Dahil dito, patakbo siyang pumunta kay Simon Pedro at sa alagad na mahal ni Jesus, at sinabi sa kanila, “Kinuha nila ang Panginoon mula sa libingan, at hindi namin alam kung saan siya inilagay!”
3 Sina Pedro at ang nasabing alagad ay nagpunta sa libingan. 4 Kapwa sila tumakbo ngunit si Pedro'y naunahan noong isa. 5 Yumuko ito at sumilip sa loob ng libingan ngunit hindi pumasok. Nakita niyang nakalagay doon ang mga telang lino. 6 Nang dumating si Simon Pedro, tuluy-tuloy itong pumasok sa libingan at nakita nito ang mga telang lino, 7 at ang panyong ibinalot sa ulo ni Jesus. Ang panyo ay hindi kasama ng mga telang lino, kundi hiwalay na nakatiklop sa isang tabi. 8 Pumasok din ang alagad na naunang dumating at nakita niya ito, at siya'y naniwala. 9 Hindi pa nila nauunawaan noon na si Jesus ay kailangang muling mabuhay ayon sa kasulatan. 10 At umuwi ang mga alagad sa kanilang mga tahanan.
Nagpakita si Jesus kay Maria Magdalena(B)
11 Si Maria ay nakatayong umiiyak sa labas ng libingan. Habang umiiyak ay yumuko siya at sumilip sa loob. 12 May nakita siyang dalawang anghel na nakadamit ng puti at nakaupo sa pinaglagyan ng bangkay ni Jesus, ang isa'y sa gawing ulunan at ang isa nama'y sa paanan. 13 Tinanong nila si Maria, “Babae, bakit ka umiiyak?”
Sumagot siya, “Kinuha nila ang aking Panginoon at hindi ko alam kung saan siya inilagay.”
14 Pagkasabi nito'y napalingon siya at nakita niya si Jesus na nakatayo roon, ngunit hindi niya nakilalang si Jesus iyon.
15 Tinanong siya ni Jesus, “Babae, bakit ka umiiyak? Sino ang hinahanap mo?”
Akala ni Maria, ang kausap niya'y ang hardinero kaya't sinabi niya, “Ginoo, kung kayo po ang kumuha sa kanya, pakituro nga po ninyo sa akin kung saan ninyo siya inilagay at kukunin ko.”
16 “Maria!” sabi ni Jesus.
Humarap siya at kanyang sinabi sa wikang Hebreo, “Raboni!” na ang ibig sabihi'y “Guro.”
17 Sabi ni Jesus, “Huwag mo akong hawakan sapagkat hindi pa ako nakakapunta sa Ama. Sa halip, pumunta ka sa aking mga kapatid at sabihin mo sa kanila na aakyat ako sa aking Ama at inyong Ama, sa aking Diyos at inyong Diyos.”
18 Kaya't si Maria Magdalena ay pumunta sa mga alagad at ibinalita sa kanila, “Nakita ko ang Panginoon!” At sinabi rin niya sa kanila ang mga sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus.
Nagpakita si Jesus sa Kanyang mga Alagad(C)
19 Kinagabihan ng araw ding iyon na unang araw ng linggo, habang nakasara ang mga pinto ng bahay na kinaroroonan ng mga alagad dahil sa takot nila sa mga Judio, dumating si Jesus. Tumayo siya sa kalagitnaan nila at sinabi, “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan!” 20 Pagkasabi nito, ipinakita niya ang kanyang mga kamay at ang kanyang tagiliran. Tuwang-tuwa ang mga alagad nang makita nila ang Panginoon. 21 Muling sinabi ni Jesus, “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan! Kung paanong isinugo ako ng Ama, isinusugo ko rin kayo.” 22 Pagkatapos, sila'y hiningahan niya at sinabi, “Tanggapin ninyo ang Espiritu Santo. 23 Kung(D) patatawarin ninyo ang mga kasalanan ninuman ay pinatawad na ang mga iyon, subalit ang hindi ninyo patatawarin ay hindi nga pinatawad.”
Ang Pag-aalinlangan ni Tomas
24 Ngunit si Tomas, na tinatawag na Kambal at kabilang sa Labindalawa, ay wala roon nang dumating si Jesus. 25 Kaya't sinabi sa kanya ng ibang mga alagad, “Nakita namin ang Panginoon!”
Sumagot si Tomas, “Hindi ako maniniwala hangga't hindi ko nakikita ang mga butas ng mga pako sa kanyang mga kamay, at hangga't hindi ko nailalagay ang aking daliri sa mga iyon at nahahawakan ang kanyang tagiliran.”
26 Makalipas ang isang linggo, muling nagkatipon sa loob ng bahay ang mga alagad at kasama nila si Tomas. Nakasara ang mga pinto, ngunit pumasok si Jesus at tumayo sa kalagitnaan nila. Sinabi niya, “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan!” 27 At sinabi niya kay Tomas, “Ilagay mo ang iyong daliri dito at tingnan mo ang aking mga kamay. Ilagay mo ang iyong kamay sa aking tagiliran. Huwag ka nang mag-alinlangan pa, sa halip ay maniwala ka.”
28 Sumagot si Tomas, “Panginoon ko at Diyos ko!”
29 Sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Naniniwala ka na ba dahil nakita mo ako? Pinagpala silang hindi nakakita gayunma'y naniniwala.”
Ang Layunin ng Aklat na Ito
30 Marami pang mga himalang ginawa si Jesus na nasaksihan ng mga alagad na hindi nakasulat sa aklat na ito. 31 Ngunit ang mga nakasulat dito ay isinulat upang kayo'y sumampalataya[a] na si Jesus ang Cristo, ang Anak ng Diyos, at sa pagsampalatayang iyon ay magkaroon kayo ng buhay sa pamamagitan niya.

El sepulcro vacío(A)
20 El primer día de la semana, muy de mañana, cuando todavía estaba oscuro, María Magdalena fue al sepulcro y vio que habían quitado la piedra que cubría la entrada. 2 Así que fue corriendo a ver a Simón Pedro y al otro discípulo, a quien Jesús amaba, y les dijo:
―¡Se han llevado del sepulcro al Señor, y no sabemos dónde lo han puesto!
3 Pedro y el otro discípulo se dirigieron entonces al sepulcro. 4 Ambos fueron corriendo, pero, como el otro discípulo corría más deprisa que Pedro, llegó primero al sepulcro. 5 Inclinándose, se asomó y vio allí las vendas, pero no entró. 6 Tras él llegó Simón Pedro, y entró en el sepulcro. Vio allí las vendas 7 y el sudario que había cubierto la cabeza de Jesús, aunque el sudario no estaba con las vendas, sino enrollado en un lugar aparte. 8 En ese momento entró también el otro discípulo, el que había llegado primero al sepulcro; y vio y creyó. 9 Hasta entonces no habían entendido la Escritura, que dice que Jesús tenía que resucitar.

10 Los discípulos regresaron a su casa, 11 pero María se quedó afuera, llorando junto al sepulcro. Mientras lloraba, se inclinó para mirar dentro del sepulcro, 12 y vio a dos ángeles vestidos de blanco, sentados donde había estado el cuerpo de Jesús, uno a la cabecera y otro a los pies.
13 ―¿Por qué lloras, mujer? —le preguntaron los ángeles.
―Es que se han llevado a mi Señor, y no sé dónde lo han puesto —les respondió.
14 Apenas dijo esto, volvió la mirada y allí vio a Jesús de pie, aunque no sabía que era él. 15 Jesús le dijo:
―¿Por qué lloras, mujer? ¿A quién buscas?
Ella, pensando que se trataba del que cuidaba el huerto, le dijo:
―Señor, si tú te lo has llevado, dime dónde lo has puesto, y yo iré por él.
16 ―María —le dijo Jesús.
Ella se volvió y exclamó:
―¡Raboni! (que en arameo significa: maestro).
17 ―Suéltame,[a] porque todavía no he vuelto al Padre. Ve más bien a mis hermanos y diles: “Vuelvo a mi Padre, que es vuestro Padre; a mi Dios, que es vuestro Dios”.
18 María Magdalena fue a darles la noticia a los discípulos. «¡He visto al Señor!», exclamaba, y les contaba lo que él le había dicho.

19 Al atardecer de aquel primer día de la semana, estando reunidos los discípulos a puerta cerrada por temor a los judíos, entró Jesús y, poniéndose en medio de ellos, los saludó.
―¡La paz sea con vosotros!
20 Dicho esto, les mostró las manos y el costado. Al ver al Señor, los discípulos se alegraron.
21 ―¡La paz sea con vosotros! —repitió Jesús—. Como el Padre me envió a mí, así yo os envío a vosotros.
22 Acto seguido, sopló sobre ellos y les dijo:
―Recibid el Espíritu Santo. 23 A quienes perdonéis sus pecados, les serán perdonados; a quienes no se los perdonéis, no les serán perdonados.
Jesús se aparece a Tomás
24 Tomás, al que apodaban el Gemelo,[b] y que era uno de los doce, no estaba con los discípulos cuando llegó Jesús. 25 Así que los otros discípulos le dijeron:
―¡Hemos visto al Señor!
―Mientras no vea yo la marca de los clavos en sus manos, y meta mi dedo en las marcas y mi mano en su costado, no lo creeré —repuso Tomás.
26 Una semana más tarde estaban los discípulos de nuevo en la casa, y Tomás estaba con ellos. Aunque las puertas estaban cerradas, Jesús entró y, poniéndose en medio de ellos, los saludó.
―¡La paz sea con vosotros!
27 Luego dijo a Tomás:
―Pon tu dedo aquí y mira mis manos. Acerca tu mano y métela en mi costado. Y no seas incrédulo, sino hombre de fe.
28 ―¡Señor mío y Dios mío! —exclamó Tomás.
29 ―Porque me has visto, has creído —le dijo Jesús—; dichosos los que no han visto y sin embargo creen.
30 Jesús hizo muchas otras señales milagrosas en presencia de sus discípulos, las cuales no están registradas en este libro. 31 Pero estas se han escrito para que creáis que Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, y para que al creer en su nombre tengáis vida.

La resurrección

20 El primer día de la semana, María Magdalena fue de mañana, siendo aún oscuro, al sepulcro; y vio quitada la piedra del sepulcro. 2 Entonces corrió, y fue a Simón Pedro y al otro discípulo, aquel al que amaba Jesús, y les dijo: Se han llevado del sepulcro al Señor, y no sabemos dónde le han puesto. 3 Y salieron Pedro y el otro discípulo, y fueron al sepulcro. 4 Corrían los dos juntos; pero el otro discípulo corrió más aprisa que Pedro, y llegó primero al sepulcro. 5 Y bajándose a mirar, vio los lienzos puestos allí, pero no entró. 6 Luego llegó Simón Pedro tras él, y entró en el sepulcro, y vio los lienzos puestos allí, 7 y el sudario, que había estado sobre la cabeza de Jesús, no puesto con los lienzos, sino enrollado en un lugar aparte. 8 Entonces entró también el otro discípulo, que había venido primero al sepulcro; y vio, y creyó. 9 Porque aún no habían entendido la Escritura, que era necesario que él resucitase de los muertos. 10 Y volvieron los discípulos a los suyos.

Les dijo: Porque se han llevado a mi Señor, y no sé dónde le han puesto. 14 Cuando había dicho esto, se volvió, y vio a Jesús que estaba allí; mas no sabía que era Jesús. 15 Jesús le dijo: Mujer, ¿por qué lloras? ¿A quién buscas? Ella, pensando que era el hortelano, le dijo: Señor, si tú lo has llevado, dime dónde lo has puesto, y yo lo llevaré. 16 Jesús le dijo: ¡María! Volviéndose ella, le dijo: ¡Raboni! (que quiere decir, Maestro). 17 Jesús le dijo: No me toques, porque aún no he subido a mi Padre; mas ve a mis hermanos, y diles: Subo a mi Padre y a vuestro Padre, a mi Dios y a vuestro Dios. 18 Fue entonces María Magdalena para dar a los discípulos las nuevas de que había visto al Señor, y que él le había dicho estas cosas.

19 Cuando llegó la noche de aquel mismo día, el primero de la semana, estando las puertas cerradas en el lugar donde los discípulos estaban reunidos por miedo de los judíos, vino Jesús, y puesto en medio, les dijo: Paz a vosotros. 20 Y cuando les hubo dicho esto, les mostró las manos y el costado. Y los discípulos se regocijaron viendo al Señor. 21 Entonces Jesús les dijo otra vez: Paz a vosotros. Como me envió el Padre, así también yo os envío. 22 Y habiendo dicho esto, sopló, y les dijo: Recibid el Espíritu Santo. 23 A quienes remitiereis los pecados, les son remitidos; y a quienes se los retuviereis, les son retenidos.(A)
Incredulidad de Tomás
24 Pero Tomás, uno de los doce, llamado Dídimo, no estaba con ellos cuando Jesús vino. 25 Le dijeron, pues, los otros discípulos: Al Señor hemos visto. Él les dijo: Si no viere en sus manos la señal de los clavos, y metiere mi dedo en el lugar de los clavos, y metiere mi mano en su costado, no creeré.
26 Ocho días después, estaban otra vez sus discípulos dentro, y con ellos Tomás. Llegó Jesús, estando las puertas cerradas, y se puso en medio y les dijo: Paz a vosotros. 27 Luego dijo a Tomás: Pon aquí tu dedo, y mira mis manos; y acerca tu mano, y métela en mi costado; y no seas incrédulo, sino creyente. 28 Entonces Tomás respondió y le dijo: ¡Señor mío, y Dios mío! 29 Jesús le dijo: Porque me has visto, Tomás, creíste; bienaventurados los que no vieron, y creyeron.
El propósito del libro
30 Hizo además Jesús muchas otras señales en presencia de sus discípulos, las cuales no están escritas en este libro. 31 Pero estas se han escrito para que creáis que Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, y para que creyendo, tengáis vida en su nombre.

Jesus Comes Back to Life(A)
20 Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary from Magdala went to the tomb. She saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb’s entrance. 2 So she ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple, whom Yeshua loved. She told them, “They have removed the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they’ve put him.”
3 So Peter and the other disciple headed for the tomb. 4 The two were running side by side, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked inside the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there but didn’t go inside.
6 Simon Peter arrived after him and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there. 7 He also saw the cloth that had been on Yeshua’s head. It wasn’t lying with the strips of linen but was rolled up separately. 8 Then the other disciple, who arrived at the tomb first, went inside. He saw and believed. 9 They didn’t know yet what Scripture meant when it said that Yeshua had to come back to life. 10 So the disciples went back home.

11 Mary, however, stood there and cried as she looked at the tomb. As she cried, she bent over and looked inside. 12 She saw two angels in white clothes. They were sitting where the body of Yeshua had been lying. One angel was where Yeshua’s head had been, and the other was where his feet had been. 13 The angels asked her why she was crying.
Mary told them, “They have removed my Lord, and I don’t know where they’ve put him.”
14 After she said this, she turned around and saw Yeshua standing there. However, she didn’t know that it was Yeshua. 15 Yeshua asked her, “Why are you crying? Who are you looking for?”
Mary thought it was the gardener speaking to her. So she said to him, “Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I’ll remove him.”
16 Yeshua said to her, “Mary!”
Mary turned around and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (This word means “teacher.”)
17 Yeshua told her, “Don’t hold on to me. I have not yet gone to the Father. But go to my brothers and sisters and tell them, ‘I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
18 Mary from Magdala went to the disciples and told them, “I have seen the Lord.” She also told them what he had said to her.
Jesus Appears to the Disciples(B)
19 That Sunday evening, the disciples were together behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jews. Yeshua stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you!” 20 When he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were glad to see the Lord.
21 Yeshua said to them again, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” 22 After he had said this, he breathed on the disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 Whenever you forgive sins, they are forgiven. Whenever you don’t forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Jesus Appears to Thomas
24 Thomas, one of the twelve apostles, who was called Didymus, wasn’t with them when Yeshua came. 25 The other disciples told him, “We’ve seen the Lord.”
Thomas told them, “I refuse to believe this unless I see the nail marks in his hands, put my fingers into them, and put my hand into his side.”
26 A week later Yeshua’s disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Yeshua stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then Yeshua said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Take your hand, and put it into my side. Stop doubting, and believe.”
28 Thomas responded to Yeshua, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Yeshua said to Thomas, “You believe because you’ve seen me. Blessed are those who haven’t seen me but believe.”
30 Yeshua performed many other miracles that his disciples saw. Those miracles are not written in this book. 31 But these miracles have been written so that you will believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God, and so that you will have life by believing in him.
