²³Sabihin din ninyo na pinatuyo ni Yahweh ang tubig ng Jordan habang kayo'y tumatawid, tulad ng ginawa niya sa Dagat na Pula^[a] habang kami'y tumatawid noon. ²⁴Sa ganitong paraan, kikilalanin ng lahat ng tao sa daigdig ang kapangyarihan ni Yahweh, at pararangalan ninyo ang Diyos ninyong si Yahweh sa habang panahon.”

²³For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

²⁴That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the Lord your God for ever.

²³For the Lord your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The Lord your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea^[a] when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over.^(A) ²⁴He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know^(B) that the hand of the Lord is powerful^(C) and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.^(D)”
