49 När de hade utskiftat landet efter dess områden, gav de åt Josua, Nuns son, en arvedel ibland sig. 50 Efter Herrens befallning gav de honom den stad som han begärde, Timnat-Sera i Efraims bergsbygd. Och han byggde upp staden och bosatte sig där.
51 Dessa var de arvslotter som prästen Eleasar och Josua, Nuns son, och huvudmännen för familjerna inom israeliternas stammar utskiftade genom lottkastning i Silo inför Herrens ansikte vid ingången till uppenbarelsetältet. Så avslutade de fördelningen av landet.

Allotment for Joshua
49 When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them, 50 as the Lord had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for—Timnath Serah[a](A) in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.
51 These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. And so they finished dividing(B) the land.(C)

49 When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
50 According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
51 These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
