¹⁹ But all silver and gold, and every vessel of bronze and iron, are holy to the Lord; they shall go into the treasury of the Lord.”

⁶ But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into ^(A)the treasury, since it is blood money.”

²⁰ And of the Levites, Ahijah had charge of ^(A)the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated gifts.

The Widow's Offering

^41 (A)And he sat down opposite ^(B)the treasury and watched the people ^(C)putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums.

³⁸ And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive the tithes. And the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the chambers of ^(A)the storehouse.

¹¹ These also King David dedicated to the Lord, together with the silver and gold that he had carried off from all the nations, from ^(A)Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and Amalek.

¹³ and carried off all the treasures of the house of the Lord ^(A)and the treasures of the king's house, ^(B)and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold in the temple of the Lord, ^(C)which Solomon king of Israel had made, ^(D)as the Lord had foretold.

⁵¹ Thus all the work that King Solomon did on the house of the Lord was finished. And Solomon brought in ^(A)the things that David his father had dedicated, the silver, the gold, and the vessels, and stored them in the treasuries of the house of the Lord.
