¹⁴ “And now ^(A)I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that ^(B)not one word has failed of all the good things^[a] that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed. ¹⁵ But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you ^(C)all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you,

³ David also defeated ^(A)Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of ^(B)Zobah, as he went to restore his power at the river Euphrates.

^{21 [a] (A)}Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the ^(B)Euphrates^[b] to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt. ^(C)They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

^8 (A)You found his heart faithful before you, ^(B)and made with him the covenant to give to his offspring ^(C)the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. ^(D)And you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.

^5 (A)that I may confirm the oath that I swore to your fathers, ^(B)to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day.” Then I answered, “So be it, Lord.”
