Simeon’s Inheritance with Judah
19 The (A)second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. (B)And their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah. 2 (C)They had in their inheritance Beersheba (Sheba), Moladah, 3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem, 4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah, 5 Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah, 6 Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their villages; 7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their villages; 8 and all the villages that were all around these cities as far as Baalath Beer, (D)Ramah of the South. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
9 The inheritance of the children of Simeon was included in the share of the children of Judah, for the share of the children of Judah was [a]too much for them. (E)Therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of [b]that people.
The Land of Zebulun
10 The third lot came out for the children of Zebulun according to their families, and the border of their inheritance was as far as Sarid. 11 (F)Their border went toward the west and to Maralah, went to Dabbasheth, and extended along the brook that is (G)east of Jokneam. 12 Then from Sarid it went eastward toward the sunrise along the border of Chisloth Tabor, and went out toward (H)Daberath, bypassing Japhia. 13 And from there it passed along on the east of (I)Gath Hepher, toward Eth Kazin, and extended to Rimmon, which borders on Neah. 14 Then the border went around it on the north side of Hannathon, and [c]it ended in the Valley of Jiphthah El. 15 Included were Kattath, Nahallal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages. 16 This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
The Land of Issachar
17 The fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families. 18 And their territory went to Jezreel, and included Chesulloth, Shunem, 19 Haphraim, Shion, Anaharath, 20 Rabbith, Kishion, Abez, 21 Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez. 22 And the border reached to Tabor, Shahazimah, and (J)Beth Shemesh; their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages. 23 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.
The Land of Asher
24 (K)The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families. 25 And their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph, 26 Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal; it reached to (L)Mount Carmel westward, along the Brook Shihor Libnath. 27 It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon; and it reached to Zebulun and to the Valley of Jiphthah El, then northward beyond Beth Emek and Neiel, bypassing (M)Cabul which was on the left, 28 including [d]Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, (N)as far as Greater Sidon. 29 And the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea by the region of (O)Achzib. 30 Also Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob were included: twenty-two cities with their villages. 31 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
The Land of Naphtali
32 (P)The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families. 33 And their border began at Heleph, enclosing the territory from the terebinth tree in Zaanannim, Adami Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; [e]it ended at the Jordan. 34 (Q)From Heleph the border extended westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there toward Hukkok; it adjoined Zebulun on the south side and Asher on the west side, and ended at Judah by the Jordan toward the sunrise. 35 And the fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth, 36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor, 37 (R)Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor, 38 Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh: nineteen cities with their villages. 39 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
The Land of Dan
40 (S)The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families. 41 And the territory of their inheritance was Zorah, (T)Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh, 42 (U)Shaalabbin, (V)Aijalon, Jethlah, 43 Elon, Timnah, (W)Ekron, 44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath, 45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon, 46 Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the region [f]near [g]Joppa. 47 And the (X)border of the children of Dan went beyond these, because the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem and took it; and they struck it with the edge of the sword, took possession of it, and dwelt in it. They called Leshem, (Y)Dan, after the name of Dan their father. 48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Joshua’s Inheritance
49 When they had [h]made an end of dividing the land as an inheritance according to their borders, the children of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun. 50 According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked for, (Z)Timnath (AA)Serah in the mountains of Ephraim; and he built the city and dwelt in it.
51 (AB)These were the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel divided as an inheritance by lot (AC)in Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. So they made an end of dividing the country.

Partea lui Simeon
19 A doua parte a căzut prin sorţi lui Simeon, seminţiei fiilor lui Simeon, după familiile lor. Moştenirea lor(A) era în mijlocul moştenirii fiilor lui Iuda. 2 Ei au avut(B) în moştenirea lor: Beer-Şeba, Şeba, Molada, 3 Haţar-Şual, Bala, Aţem, 4 Eltolad, Betul, Horma, 5 Ţiclag, Bet-Marcabot, Haţar-Susa, 6 Bet-Lebaot şi Şaruhen; treisprezece cetăţi şi satele lor; 7 Ain, Rimon, Eter şi Aşan; patru cetăţi şi satele lor 8 şi toate satele din împrejurimile acestor cetăţi, până la Baalat-Beer, care este Ramatul de miazăzi. Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Simeon, după familiile lor. 9 Moştenirea fiilor lui Simeon a fost luată din partea de moştenire a fiilor lui Iuda, căci partea fiilor lui Iuda era prea mare pentru ei şi, de aceea(C), fiii lui Simeon şi-au primit pe a lor în mijlocul moştenirii lor.
Partea lui Zabulon
10 A treia parte a căzut prin sorţi fiilor lui Zabulon după familiile lor. 11 Hotarul moştenirii(D) lor se întindea până la Sarid. La apus, se suia spre Mareala şi atingea Dabeşet, apoi pârâul care curge înaintea Iocneamului(E). 12 Din Sarid se întorcea spre răsărit, spre răsăritul soarelui, până la hotarul Chislot-Taborului, mergea înainte la Dabrat şi suia la Iafia. 13 De acolo trecea la răsărit prin Ghita-Hefer, prin Ita-Caţin, mergea la Rimon şi se întorcea până la Nea. 14 Se întorcea apoi înspre miazănoapte, spre Hanaton, şi ieşea la valea Iiftah-El. 15 Cuprindea Catat, Nahalal, Şimron, Iideala, Betleem; douăsprezece cetăţi şi satele lor. 16 Aceasta a fost moştenirea fiilor lui Zabulon, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.
Partea lui Isahar
17 A patra parte a căzut prin sorţi lui Isahar, fiilor lui Isahar, după familiile lor. 18 Hotarul lor trecea prin Izreel, Chesulot, Sunem, 19 Hafaraim, Şion, Anaharat, 20 Rabit, Chişion, Abeţ, 21 Remet, En-Ganim, En-Hada şi Bet-Paţeţ; 22 atingea Taborul, Şahaţima, Bet-Şemeş şi ieşea la Iordan; şaisprezece cetăţi şi satele lor. 23 Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Isahar, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.
Partea lui Aşer
24 A cincea parte a căzut prin sorţi seminţiei fiilor lui Aşer, după familiile lor. 25 Hotarul lor trecea prin Helcat, Hali, Beten, Acşaf, 26 Alamelec, Amead şi Mişeal; atingea, spre apus, Carmelul şi Şihor-Libnat, 27 apoi se întorcea înspre răsărit la Bet-Dagon, se atingea de Zabulon şi de valea Iiftah-El la miazănoapte de Bet-Emec şi Neiel şi se întindea spre Cabul, la stânga, 28 şi spre Ebron, Rehob, Hamon şi Cana, până la Sidonul(F) cel mare. 29 Se întorcea apoi spre Rama, până la cetatea cea tare a Tirului, şi spre Hosa şi ieşea la mare, prin ţinutul Aczib(G). 30 Cuprindea: Uma, Afec şi Rehob; douăzeci şi două de cetăţi şi satele lor. 31 Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Aşer, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.
Partea lui Neftali
32 A şasea parte a căzut prin sorţi fiilor lui Neftali, după familiile lor. 33 Hotarul lor se întindea de la Helef, de la Alon, prin Ţaananim, Adami-Necheb şi Iabneel, până la Lacum, şi ieşea la Iordan. 34 Se întorcea(H) spre apus la Aznot-Tabor şi, de acolo, mergea înainte la Hucoc; se atingea de Zabulon înspre miazăzi, de Aşer înspre apus şi de Iuda; înspre răsărit era Iordanul. 35 Cetăţile tari erau: Ţidim, Ţer, Hamat, Racat, Chineret, 36 Adama, Rama, Haţor, 37 Chedeş, Edrei, En-Haţor, 38 Iireon, Migdal-El, Horem, Bet-Anat şi Bet-Şemeş: nouăsprezece cetăţi şi satele lor. 39 Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Neftali, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.
Partea lui Dan
40 A şaptea parte a căzut prin sorţi seminţiei fiilor lui Dan, după familiile lor. 41 Hotarul moştenirii lor era Ţorea, Eştaol, Ir-Şemeş, 42 Şaalabin(I), Aialon, Iitla, 43 Elon, Timnata, Ecron, 44 Elteche, Ghibeton, Baalat, 45 Iehud, Bene-Berac, Gat-Rimon, 46 Me-Iarcon şi Racon, cu hotarul care este faţă în faţă cu Iafo. 47 Ţinutul(J) fiilor lui Dan se întindea şi în afară de acestea. Fiii lui Dan s-au suit şi s-au luptat împotriva lui Leşem; au pus mâna pe el şi l-au trecut prin ascuţişul sabiei; au pus stăpânire pe el, s-au aşezat în el şi l-au numit Dan(K), după numele tatălui lor Dan. 48 Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Dan, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.
Partea lui Iosua
49 După ce au isprăvit de împărţit ţara după hotarele ei, copiii lui Israel au dat lui Iosua, fiul lui Nun, o moştenire în mijlocul lor. 50 După porunca Domnului, i-au dat cetatea pe care o cerea el: Timnat-Serah(L), în muntele lui Efraim. El a zidit cetatea din nou şi şi-a aşezat locuinţa acolo. 51 Acestea(M) sunt moştenirile pe care le-au împărţit preotul Eleazar, Iosua, fiul lui Nun, şi căpeteniile de familie ale seminţiilor copiilor lui Israel, prin sorţi înaintea Domnului, la Silo(N), la uşa cortului întâlnirii. Astfel au isprăvit ei împărţirea ţării.

Allotment for Simeon(A)
19 The second lot came out for the tribe of Simeon according to its clans. Their inheritance lay within the territory of Judah.(B) 2 It included:
Beersheba(C) (or Sheba),[a] Moladah,(D) 3 Hazar Shual,(E) Balah, Ezem,(F) 4 Eltolad,(G) Bethul, Hormah,(H) 5 Ziklag,(I) Beth Markaboth, Hazar Susah, 6 Beth Lebaoth and Sharuhen—thirteen towns and their villages;
7 Ain, Rimmon,(J) Ether and Ashan(K)—four towns and their villages— 8 and all the villages around these towns as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah in the Negev).(L)
This was the inheritance of the tribe of the Simeonites, according to its clans. 9 The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the share of Judah,(M) because Judah’s portion was more than they needed. So the Simeonites received their inheritance within the territory of Judah.(N)
Allotment for Zebulun
10 The third lot came up for Zebulun(O) according to its clans:
The boundary of their inheritance went as far as Sarid.(P) 11 Going west it ran to Maralah, touched Dabbesheth, and extended to the ravine near Jokneam.(Q) 12 It turned east from Sarid(R) toward the sunrise to the territory of Kisloth Tabor and went on to Daberath(S) and up to Japhia. 13 Then it continued eastward to Gath Hepher(T) and Eth Kazin; it came out at Rimmon(U) and turned toward Neah. 14 There the boundary went around on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.(V) 15 Included were Kattath, Nahalal,(W) Shimron,(X) Idalah and Bethlehem.(Y) There were twelve towns and their villages.
16 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of Zebulun,(Z) according to its clans.(AA)

24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher(AK) according to its clans. 25 Their territory included:
Helkath, Hali, Beten, Akshaph,(AL) 26 Allammelek, Amad and Mishal.(AM) On the west the boundary touched Carmel(AN) and Shihor Libnath. 27 It then turned east toward Beth Dagon,(AO) touched Zebulun(AP) and the Valley of Iphtah El,(AQ) and went north to Beth Emek and Neiel, passing Kabul(AR) on the left. 28 It went to Abdon,[b](AS) Rehob,(AT) Hammon(AU) and Kanah,(AV) as far as Greater Sidon.(AW) 29 The boundary then turned back toward Ramah(AX) and went to the fortified city of Tyre,(AY) turned toward Hosah and came out at the Mediterranean Sea(AZ) in the region of Akzib,(BA) 30 Ummah, Aphek(BB) and Rehob.(BC) There were twenty-two towns and their villages.
31 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Asher,(BD) according to its clans.
Allotment for Naphtali
32 The sixth lot came out for Naphtali according to its clans:
33 Their boundary went from Heleph and the large tree in Zaanannim,(BE) passing Adami Nekeb and Jabneel(BF) to Lakkum and ending at the Jordan. 34 The boundary ran west through Aznoth Tabor and came out at Hukkok.(BG) It touched Zebulun(BH) on the south, Asher on the west and the Jordan[c] on the east. 35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath,(BI) Rakkath, Kinnereth,(BJ) 36 Adamah, Ramah,(BK) Hazor,(BL) 37 Kedesh,(BM) Edrei,(BN) En Hazor, 38 Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath(BO) and Beth Shemesh.(BP) There were nineteen towns and their villages.

47 (When the territory of the Danites was lost to them,(BZ) they went up and attacked Leshem(CA), took it, put it to the sword and occupied it. They settled in Leshem and named(CB) it Dan after their ancestor.)(CC)
48 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Dan,(CD) according to its clans.
Allotment for Joshua
49 When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them, 50 as the Lord had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for—Timnath Serah[d](CE) in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.
51 These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. And so they finished dividing(CF) the land.(CG)
