Joshua 17:10-12

New International Version

¹⁰On the south the land belonged to Ephraim, on the north to Manasseh. The territory of Manasseh reached the Mediterranean Sea and bordered Asher^(A) on the north and Issachar^(B) on the east.^(C)

¹¹Within Issachar^(D) and Asher, Manasseh also had Beth Shan,^(E) Ibleam^(F) and the people of Dor,^(G) Endor,^(H) Taanach^(I) and Megiddo,^(J) together with their surrounding settlements (the third in the list is Naphoth^[a]).^(K)

¹²Yet the Manassites were not able^(L) to occupy these towns, for the Canaanites were determined to live in that region.
