²¹The southernmost towns of the tribe of Judah in the Negev^(A) toward the boundary of Edom were:

Kabzeel,^(B) Eder,^(C) Jagur, ²²Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah, ²³Kedesh,^(D) Hazor,^(E) Ithnan, ²⁴Ziph,^(F) Telem, Bealoth, ²⁵Hazor Hadattah, Kerioth Hezron (that is, Hazor),^(G) ²⁶Amam, Shema, Moladah,^(H) ²⁷Hazar Gaddah, Heshmon, Beth Pelet, ²⁸Hazar Shual,^(I) Beersheba,^(J) Biziothiah, ²⁹Baalah,^(K) Iyim, Ezem,^(L) ³⁰Eltolad,^(M) Kesil, Hormah,^(N) ³¹Ziklag,^(O) Madmannah,^(P) Sansannah, ³²Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain^(Q) and Rimmon^(R)—a total of twenty-nine towns and their villages.

³³In the western foothills:

Eshtaol,^(S) Zorah,^(T) Ashnah,^(U) ³⁴Zanoah,^(V) En Gannim,^(W) Tappuah,^(X) Enam, ³⁵Jarmuth,^(Y) Adullam,^(Z) Sokoh,^(AA) Azekah,^(AB) ³⁶Shaaraim,^(AC) Adithaim and Gederah^(AD) (or Gederothaim)^[a]—fourteen towns and their villages.

³⁷Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal Gad, ³⁸Dilean, Mizpah,^(AE) Joktheel,^(AF) ³⁹Lachish,^(AG) Bozkath,^(AH) Eglon,^(AI) ⁴⁰Kabbon, Lahmas, Kitlish, ⁴¹Gederoth,^(AJ) Beth Dagon,^(AK) Naamah and Makkedah^(AL)—sixteen towns and their villages.

⁴²Libnah,^(AM) Ether, Ashan,^(AN) ⁴³Iphtah, Ashnah,^(AO) Nezib, ⁴⁴Keilah,^(AP) Akzib^(AQ) and Mareshah^(AR)—nine towns and their villages.

⁴⁵Ekron,^(AS) with its surrounding settlements and villages; ⁴⁶west of Ekron, all that were in the vicinity of Ashdod,^(AT) together with their villages; ⁴⁷Ashdod,^(AU) its surrounding settlements and villages; and Gaza, its settlements and villages, as far as the Wadi of Egypt^(AV) and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.^(AW)
