List of Defeated Kings
12 These are the kings of the land whom the Israelites had defeated and whose territory they took(A) over east of the Jordan,(B) from the Arnon(C) Gorge to Mount Hermon,(D) including all the eastern side of the Arabah:(E)
2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.(F)
He ruled from Aroer(G) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge—from the middle of the gorge—to the Jabbok River,(H) which is the border of the Ammonites.(I) This included half of Gilead.(J) 3 He also ruled over the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Galilee[a](K) to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea(L)), to Beth Jeshimoth,(M) and then southward below the slopes of Pisgah.(N)
4 And the territory of Og king of Bashan,(O) one of the last of the Rephaites,(P) who reigned in Ashtaroth(Q) and Edrei.
5 He ruled over Mount Hermon, Salekah,(R) all of Bashan(S) to the border of the people of Geshur(T) and Maakah,(U) and half of Gilead(V) to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites conquered them.(W) And Moses the servant of the Lord gave their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh to be their possession.(X)
7 Here is a list of the kings of the land that Joshua and the Israelites conquered on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon(Y) to Mount Halak, which rises toward Seir. Joshua gave their lands as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel according to their tribal divisions. 8 The lands included the hill country, the western foothills, the Arabah, the mountain slopes, the wilderness and the Negev.(Z) These were the lands of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. The Kings Conquered by Moses(A)
12 These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, (B)from the River Arnon (C)to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain: 2 One king was (D)Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites, 3 and (E)the eastern Jordan plain from the [a]Sea of Chinneroth as far as the [b]Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), (F)the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and [c]southward below (G)the[d] slopes of Pisgah. 4 The other king was (H)Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of (I)the remnant of the giants, (J)who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, 5 and reigned over (K)Mount Hermon, (L)over Salcah, over all Bashan, (M)as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 (N)These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and (O)Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.

Die besiegten Könige
12 Dies sind die Könige des Landes, welche die Kinder Israel schlugen und deren Land sie einnahmen jenseits des Jordan, gegen Aufgang der Sonne, von dem Bache Arnon an bis zum Berg Hermon, und die ganze Ebene gegen Morgen:
2 Sihon, der König der Amoriter, der zu Hesbon wohnte und herrschte von Aroer an, das am Ufer des Baches Arnon liegt, und über die Mitte des Tales und über das halbe Gilead und bis an den Bach Jabbok, der die Grenze der Kinder Ammon ist, 3 und über die Ebene bis an den See Genezaret gegen Morgen und bis an das Meer der Ebene, nämlich das Salzmeer gegen Morgen am Wege gen Beth-Jesimot; und von Teman an unterhalb der Abhänge des Pisga.
4 Dann das Gebiet des Königs Og zu Basan, der noch von den Rephaitern übrig war und zu Astarot und Edrei wohnte, 5 welcher herrschte über den Berg Hermon und über Salcha und über ganz Basan, bis an die Grenze der Gessuriter und Maachiter, und über das halbe Gilead, bis zum Gebiet Sihons, des Königs zu Hesbon.
6 Mose, der Knecht des Herrn, und die Kinder Israel schlugen sie. Und Mose, der Knecht des Herrn, gab sie den Rubenitern, Gaditern und dem halben Stamme Manasse zum Besitz.
7 Folgendes aber sind die Könige des Landes, die Josua und die Kinder Israel schlugen diesseits des Jordan, gegen Westen, von Baal-Gad an im Tale des Libanon bis an das kahle Gebirge, welches gegen Seir aufsteigt. Und Josua gab es den Stämmen Israels zum Besitz, einem jeden seinen Teil, 8 auf den Gebirgen, in den Tälern, in der Ebene, an den Abhängen, in den Wüsten und gegen Mittag, die Hetiter, Amoriter, Kanaaniter, Pheresiter, Heviter und Jebusiter:
9 Der König von Jericho, der König von Ai, das zur Seite von Bethel liegt, 10 der König von Jerusalem, der König von Hebron, 11 der König von Jarmut, der König von Lachis, 12 der König von Eglon, der König von Geser,
13 der König von Debir, der König von Geder, 14 der König von Horma, der König von Arad, 15 der König von Libna, der König von Adullam, 16 der König von Makkeda, der König von Bethel, 17 der König von Tappuach, der König von Hepher, 18 der König von Aphek, der König von Lascharon, 19 der König von Madon, der König von Hazor, 20 der König von Simron-Meron, der König von Achsaph, 21 der König von Taanach, der König von Megiddo, 22 der König von Kedesch, der König von Jokneam am Karmel, 23 der König von Dor, auf der Höhe von Dor, der König der Heiden[a] zu Gilgal, der König von Tirza.

3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 Them did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
7 And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
8 In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
