12 These are the kings, whom the children of Israel slew and possessed their land beyond the Jordan towards the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the east country that looketh towards the wilderness.
2 Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and had dominion from Aroer, which is seated upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, and of the middle part in the valley, and of half Galaad, as far as the torrent Jaboc, which is the border of the children of Ammon.
3 And from the wilderness, to the sea of Ceneroth towards the east, and to the sea of the wilderness, which is the most salt sea, on the east side by the way that leadeth to Bethsimoth: and on the south side that lieth under Asedoth, Phasga.
4 The border of Og the king of Basan, of the remnant of the Raphaims who dwelt in Astaroth, and in Edrai, and had dominion in mount Hermon, and in Salecha, and in all Basan, unto the borders
5 Of Gessuri and Machati, and of half Galaad: the borders of Sehon the king of Hesebon.
6 Moses the servant of the Lord, and the children of Israel slew them, and Moses delivered their land in possession to the Rubenites, and Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses.
7 These are the kings of the land, whom Josue and the children of Israel slew beyond the Jordan on the west side from Baalgad in the held of Libanus, unto the mount, part of which goeth up into Seir: and Josue delivered it in possession to the tribes of Israel, to every one their divisions,
8 As well in the mountains as in the plains and the champaign countries. In Asedoth, and in the wilderness, and in the south was the Hethite and the Amorrhite, the Chanaanite and the Pherezite, the Hevite and the Jebusite.
9 The king of Jericho one: the king of Hai, which is on the side of Bethel, one:
10 The king of Jerusalem one, the king of Hebron one.
11 The king of Jerimoth one, the king of Lachis one,
12 The king of Eglon one, the king of Gazer one,
13 The king of Dabir one, the king of Gader one,
14 The king of Herma one, the king of Hered one,
15 The king of Lebna one, the king of Odullam one,
16 The king of Maceda one, the king of Bethel one,
17 The king of Taphua one, the king of Opher one,
18 The king of Aphec one, the king of Saron one,
19 The king of Madon one, the king of Asor one,
20 The king of Semeron one, the king of Achsaph one,

12 Now these are the melachim HaAretz, which the Bnei Yisroel conquered, and possessed their land beyond the Yarden toward the rising of the shemesh, from the Arnon Valley unto Mt Chermon, and kol HaAravah on the east;
2 Sichon Melech HaEmori, who reigned in Cheshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the rim of the Arnon Valley, and from the middle of the valley, and from half Gil‘ad, even unto the River Yabbok, which is the border of the Bnei Ammon;
3 And from the Aravah to the Yam Kinnerot on the east, and unto the Yam HaAravah, even the Yam HaMelach [i.e., Dead Sea] on the east, derech to Beit-HaYeshimot; and from the south, below Ashdot-HaPisgah;
4 And the territory of Og Melech HaBashan, from the last of the Repha’im, that reigned at Ashtarot and at Edre’i,
5 And reigned in Mt Chermon, and in Salkhah, and in kol HaBashan, unto the border of the Geshuri and the Maachati, and half Gil‘ad, the border of Sichon Melech Cheshbon.
6 These did Moshe Eved Hashem and the Bnei Yisroel conquer; and Moshe Eved Hashem gave it for a possession unto the Reuveni, and the Gadi, and the half shevet HaMenasheh.
7 And these are the melachim of HaAretz which Yehoshua and the Bnei Yisroel conquered on the west side of the Yarden, from Baal-Gad in the valley of Levanon even unto the Har HeChalak, that goeth up to Seir; which Yehoshua gave unto the Shivtei Yisroel for a yerushah (possession) according to their divisions;
8 In the har, and in the Shefelah, and in the Aravah, and in the slopes, and in the midbar, and in the Negev; the Chivi, HaEmori, and the Kena’ani, the Perizzi, the Chivi, and the Yevusi;
9 The Melech Yericho, one; the Melech Ai, which is near Beit-El, one;
10 The Melech Yerushalayim, one; the Melech Chevron, one;
11 The Melech Yarmut, one; the Melech Lachish, one;
12 The Melech Eglon, one; the Melech Gezer, one;
13 The Melech Devir, one; the Melech Geder, one;
14 The Melech Chormah, one; the Melech Arad, one;
15 The Melech Livnah, one; the Melech Adullam, one;
16 The Melech Makkedah, one; the Melech Beit-El, one;
17 The Melech Tapuach, one; the Melech Chepher, one;

Kings East of the Jordan River Defeated by Moses
12 These are the kings of the land east of the Jordan River that the people of Israel defeated. Israel also took possession of their lands from the Arnon Valley to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern plains.
2 Sihon was the Amorite king who lived in Heshbon. His rule extended from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon Valley to the Jabbok River, which is the border of Ammon. This included the middle of the valley and half of Gilead. 3 It included the eastern plains from the Sea of Galilee to the Sea of the Plains (the Dead Sea) and the road that goes south from Beth Jeshimoth to the foot of the slopes of Pisgah.
4 The territory of King Og of Bashan who lived in Ashtaroth and Edrei was captured. He was the last of the Rephaim. 5 He ruled Mount Hermon, Salecah, all of Bashan to the border of Geshur and Maacath, and half of Gilead to the border of King Sihon of Heshbon.
6 Yahweh’s servant Moses and the people of Israel defeated them. Then he gave their land as a possession to the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh.
Kings West of the Jordan River Defeated by Joshua
7 These are the kings of the land west of the Jordan River that Joshua and the people of Israel defeated. Their lands extended from Baal Gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak which rises toward Seir. Joshua gave it as a possession to Israel, dividing it among the tribes. 8 It included the mountains, foothills, plains, slopes, desert, and the Negev that the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites had possessed.

9 the king of Jericho, the king of Ai (near Bethel),
10 the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron,
11 the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish,
12 the king of Eglon, the king of Gezer,
13 the king of Debir, the king of Geder,
14 the king of Hormah, the king of Arad,
15 the king of Libnah, the king of Adullam,
16 the king of Makkedah, the king of Bethel,
17 the king of Tappuah, the king of Hepher,
18 the king of Aphek, the king of Sharon,[a]
19 the king of Madon, the king of Hazor,
20 the king of Shimron Meron, the king of Achshaph,
21 the king of Taanach, the king of Megiddo,
22 the king of Kedesh, the king of Jokneam in Carmel,
23 the king of Dor in Naphoth Dor, the king of Goiim in Gilgal,[b]
24 the king of Tirzah.
The total was 31 kings.
