And ye shall compass the city, all the men of war, going about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven [a]trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And it shall be, that, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down [b]flat, and the people shall go up every man straight before him.

March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns(A) in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.(B) When you hear them sound a long blast(C) on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout;(D) then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”
