Joshua 5:14-15
New American Standard Bible
14 He said, “No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua (A)fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” 15 And the captain of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “(B)Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

New International Version
14 “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown(A) to the ground(B) in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord[a] have for his servant?”
15 The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.”(C) And Joshua did so.
