New International Version
19 On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal(A) on the eastern border of Jericho.

9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away (A)the shame of Egypt from you.” So the name of that place is called [a]Gilgal to this day.
10 While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal (B)they celebrated the Passover on the evening of the (C)fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains of Jericho.
