¹² So now, please swear to me by Yahweh, since I have shown lovingkindness to you, that you also will show lovingkindness to my father’s household and give me a ^(A)pledge of ^[a]truth,

¹⁴ And if I am still alive, will you not show me the lovingkindness of Yahweh, that I may not die?

⁷ But ^(A)show lovingkindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and ^(B)let them be among those who eat at your table; ^(C)for they ^[a]assisted me when I fled from Absalom your brother.
