¹¹ Indeed we heard it, ^(A)and our hearts melted, and a courageous spirit no longer rose up in any man because of you; for ^(B)Yahweh your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

¹⁰ And even the one who is a man of valor, whose heart is like the heart of a lion, ^(A)will utterly melt; for all Israel knows that your father is a mighty man and those who are with him are men of valor.

⁷ And it will be that when they say to you, ‘Why do you groan?’ you shall say, ‘Because of the ^(A)report that is coming; and ^(B)every heart will melt, all hands will fall limp, every spirit will ^[a]faint, and all knees will ^[b]be weak as water. Behold, it is coming, and it will happen,’ declares Lord Yahweh.”
