⁸ Then the border went up the valley of Ben-hinnom to the slope of the ^(A)Jebusite on the south (that is, Jerusalem); and the border went up to the top of the mountain which is before the valley of Hinnom to the west, which is at the end of the valley of Rephaim toward the north.

^10 (A)He also defiled ^[a]Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, ^(B)that no man might make his son or his daughter pass through the fire for ^(C)Molech.

³¹ They have ^(A)built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to ^(B)burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I ^(C)did not command, and it did not come upon My heart.

³² “^(D)Therefore, behold, days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when it will no longer be called Topheth or the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of the Slaughter; for they will ^(E)bury in Topheth ^[a]because there is no other place.

³⁵ And they built the ^(A)high places of Baal that are in the valley of Ben-hinnom to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire to ^(B)Molech, which I had not commanded them, nor had it come upon My heart that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
