⁴⁷ Ashdod, with its surrounding villages and settlements; Gaza, with its surrounding villages and settlements, to the Brook of Egypt and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.

⁶⁵ Solomon and all Israel with him—a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath^[a](A) to the Brook of Egypt^(B)—observed the festival at that time^(C) in the presence of the Lord our God, seven days, and seven more days—fourteen days.^[b](D)

⁷ Now the king of Egypt did not march out of his land again,^(A) for the king of Babylon took everything that had belonged to the king of Egypt,^(B) from the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates River.^(C)

⁸ So Solomon and all Israel with him—a very great assembly, from the entrance to Hamath^[a] to the Brook of Egypt—observed the festival at that time for seven days.
