33 In the western foothills:
Eshtaol,(A) Zorah,(B) Ashnah,(C) 34 Zanoah,(D) En Gannim,(E) Tappuah,(F) Enam, 35 Jarmuth,(G) Adullam,(H) Sokoh,(I) Azekah,(J) 36 Shaaraim,(K) Adithaim and Gederah(L) (or Gederothaim)[a]—fourteen towns and their villages.
37 Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal Gad, 38 Dilean, Mizpah,(M) Joktheel,(N) 39 Lachish,(O) Bozkath,(P) Eglon,(Q) 40 Kabbon, Lahmas, Kitlish, 41 Gederoth,(R) Beth Dagon,(S) Naamah and Makkedah(T)—sixteen towns and their villages.
42 Libnah,(U) Ether, Ashan,(V) 43 Iphtah, Ashnah,(W) Nezib, 44 Keilah,(X) Akzib(Y) and Mareshah(Z)—nine towns and their villages.
45 Ekron,(AA) with its surrounding settlements and villages; 46 west of Ekron, all that were in the vicinity of Ashdod,(AB) together with their villages; 47 Ashdod,(AC) its surrounding settlements and villages; and Gaza, its settlements and villages, as far as the Wadi of Egypt(AD) and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.(AE)

40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,

45 Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
46 From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
47 Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
