⁶ All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon as far as ^(A)Misrephoth-maim, all the Sidonians, I will dispossess them from before the sons of Israel; ^(B)only allot it to Israel for an inheritance as I have commanded you.

⁷ Did You not, O our God, dispossess the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and ^(A)give it to the seed of ^(B)Abraham Your friend forever?
