Kings Defeated by Israel

12 Now these are the ^(A)kings of the land whom the sons of Israel ^[a]defeated, and they took possession of their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the Valley of the Arnon as far as Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah to the east:

⁸ With ^[a]the other half-tribe, the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance which Moses gave them ^(A)beyond the Jordan to the east, just as Moses the servant of the Lord gave to them;
