10 And Joshua turned back at that time and captured (A)Hazor and struck its king with the sword, for Hazor formerly was the head of all those kingdoms. 11 And they struck with the sword all who were in it, devoting them to destruction;[a] (B)there was none left that breathed. And he burned Hazor with fire.

10 At that time Joshua turned back and captured Hazor and put its king to the sword.(A) (Hazor had been the head of all these kingdoms.) 11 Everyone in it they put to the sword. They totally destroyed[a] them,(B) not sparing anyone that breathed,(C) and he burned(D) Hazor itself.
