Joshua 10:38-40
New International Version
38 Then Joshua and all Israel with him turned around and attacked Debir.(A) 39 They took the city, its king and its villages, and put them to the sword. Everyone in it they totally destroyed. They left no survivors. They did to Debir and its king as they had done to Libnah and its king and to Hebron.(B)
40 So Joshua subdued the whole region, including the hill country, the Negev,(C) the western foothills and the mountain slopes,(D) together with all their kings.(E) He left no survivors. He totally destroyed all who breathed, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded.(F)

38 Then Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to (A)Debir; and they fought against it. 39 And he took it and its king and all its cities; they struck them with the edge of the sword and utterly destroyed all the people who were in it. He left none remaining; as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and its king, as he had done also to Libnah and its king.
40 So Joshua conquered all the land: the (B)mountain country and the [a]South and the lowland and the wilderness slopes, and (C)all their kings; he left none remaining, but (D)utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded.
