Joshua 10:13

New American Standard Bible

¹³^(A)So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,
Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies.

Is it not written in ^(B)the Book of Jashar? And ^(C)the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hurry to go down for about a whole day.

Joshua 10:13

New International Version

¹³So the sun stood still,^(A)
and the moon stopped,
till the nation avenged itself on^[a] its enemies,

as it is written in the Book of Jashar.^(B)

The sun stopped^(C) in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

¹⁸and he told them to teach the sons of Judah the mourning song of the bow; behold, it is written in ^(A)the Book of Jashar.

¹⁸and he ordered that the people of Judah be taught this lament of the bow (it is written in the Book of Jashar):^(A)
