⁶ And they will come out after us, until we have ^(A)drawn them away from the city. For they will say, ‘They are fleeing from us, just as before.’ So we will flee before them.

¹² For man ^(A)does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and ^(B)like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are ^(C)snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

¹¹ Because ^(A)the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, ^(B)the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.

³² And the people of Benjamin said, ^(A)“They are routed before us, as at the first.” But the people of Israel said, “Let us flee and draw them away from the city to the highways.”

³ For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel, ‘They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’
