⁴ And seven priests shall bear seven ^(A)trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city ^(B)seven times, and ^(C)the priests shall blow the trumpets.

The Seven Bowls

16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying ^(A)to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the ^[a]bowls ^(B)of the wrath of God on the earth.”

^2 (A)And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, ^(B)and to them were given seven trumpets.

²¹ And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, ^(A)and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:

^17 (A)You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, ^(B)for the Lord is with you.”

^7 (A)Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God ^(B)who lives forever and ever.

Prelude to the Bowl Judgments

15 Then ^(A)I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: ^(B)seven angels having the seven last plagues, ^(C)for in them the wrath of God is complete.

³ and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, ^(A)seven thunders uttered their voices.

⁶ So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

⁶ And I looked, ^[a]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood ^(A)a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and ^(B)seven eyes, which are ^(C)the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
