^36 [a]and from the tribe of Reuben, ^(A)Bezer with its common-land, Jahaz with its common-land,

⁸ And on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho eastward, they assigned ^(A)Bezer in the wilderness on the plain, from the tribe of Reuben, ^(B)Ramoth in Gilead, from the tribe of Gad, and ^(C)Golan in Bashan, from the tribe of Manasseh.

^43 (A)Bezer in the wilderness on the plateau for the Reubenites, Ramoth in Gilead for the Gadites, and Golan in Bashan for the Manassites.

⁷⁸ And on the other side of the Jordan, across from Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, they were given from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its common-lands, Jahzah with its common-lands, ⁷⁹ Kedemoth with its common-lands, and Mephaath with its common-lands.

^23 (A)But Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his territory. So Sihon gathered all his people together and ^[a]went out against Israel in the wilderness, ^(B)and he came to Jahaz and fought against Israel.
