⁸ And beyond the Jordan east of Jericho, they appointed ^(A)Bezer in the wilderness on the tableland, from the tribe of Reuben, and ^(B)Ramoth in Gilead, from the tribe of Gad, and ^(C)Golan in Bashan, from the tribe of Manasseh.

⁷⁸ and ^(A)beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, out of the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its pasturelands, Jahzah with its pasturelands,

³⁶ and out of the tribe of Reuben, ^(A)Bezer with its pasturelands, Jahaz with its pasturelands,

³⁸ and out of the tribe of Gad, ^(A)Ramoth in Gilead with its pasturelands, the city of refuge for the manslayer, ^(B)Mahanaim with its pasturelands,

^27 (A)And to the Gershonites, one of the clans of the Levites, were given out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its pasturelands, ^(B)the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Beeshterah with its pasturelands—two cities;

⁸⁰ and out of the tribe of Gad: ^(A)Ramoth in Gilead with its pasturelands, ^(B)Mahanaim with its pasturelands,

⁶ Then the king of Israel ^(A)gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead, or shall I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.”

³ And the king of Israel said to his servants, “Do you know that ^(A)Ramoth-gilead belongs to us, and we keep quiet and do not take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?” ⁴ And he said to Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to battle at Ramoth-gilead?” And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, ^(B)“I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”
