¹⁰ and Joshua ^(A)cast lots for them in Shiloh before the Lord. And there Joshua apportioned the land to the people of Israel, ^(B)to each his portion.

^12 (A)giving thanks^[a] to the Father, who has qualified you^[b] to share in ^(B)the inheritance of the saints in light.

¹⁹ And ^(A)after destroying ^(B)seven nations in the land of Canaan, ^(C)he gave them their land as an inheritance.

⁶ And you shall describe the land in seven divisions and bring the description here to me. ^(A)And I will cast lots for you here before the Lord our God.

^18 (A)to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from ^(B)the power of Satan to God, that they may receive ^(C)forgiveness of sins and ^(D)a place among those who are sanctified ^(E)by faith in me.’

² since ^(A)you have given him authority over all flesh, ^(B)to give eternal life to all ^(C)whom you have given him.

³⁵ And when they had crucified him, ^(A)they divided his garments among them by casting lots.

²⁹ This is the land that ^(A)you shall allot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, declares the Lord God.

^22 (A)You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and ^(B)for the sojourners who reside among you and have had children among you. ^(C)They shall be to you as native-born children of Israel. With you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.
