⁹ And the ^[a]border descended to the ^[b]Brook Kanah, southward to the brook. ^(A)These cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh. The border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook; and it ended at the sea.

²⁹ And the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea by the region of ^(A)Achzib.

⁸ The border went out from ^(A)Tappuah westward to the ^(B)Brook Kanah, and ^[a]it ended at the sea. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families. ^9 (C)The separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

³ and went down westward to the boundary of the Japhletites, ^(A)as far as the boundary of Lower Beth Horon to ^(B)Gezer; and ^[a]it ended at the sea.
