⁹ Then the border went around from the top of the hill to ^(A)the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and extended to the cities of Mount Ephron. And the border went around ^(B)to Baalah (which is ^(C)Kirjath Jearim).

⁶ And David and all Israel went up to ^(A)Baalah,^[a] to Kirjath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, ^(B)who dwells between the cherubim, where His name is proclaimed.

¹⁵ The south side began at the end of Kirjath Jearim, and the border extended on the west and went out to ^(A)the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.

¹² Then they went up and encamped in ^(A)Kirjath Jearim in Judah. (Therefore they call that place ^(B)Mahaneh Dan^[a] to this day. There it is, west of Kirjath Jearim.)

² And ^(A)David arose and went with all the people who were with him from ^[a]Baale Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, whose name is called ^[b]by the Name, the Lord of Hosts, ^(B)who dwells between the cherubim.

¹⁷ Then the children of Israel journeyed and came to their cities on the third day. Now their cities were ^(A)Gibeon, Chephirah, Beeroth, and Kirjath Jearim.
