⁹ Then the boundary extends from the top of the mountain ^(A)to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the cities of Mount Ephron. Then the boundary bends around to Baalah (^(B)that is, Kiriath-jearim).

^6 (A)And David and all Israel went up to ^(B)Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who ^(C)sits enthroned above the cherubim.

¹⁵ And the southern side begins at the outskirts of Kiriath-jearim. And the boundary goes from there to Ephron,^{[a] (A)}to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.

¹² and went up and encamped at Kiriath-jearim in Judah. On this account that place is called ^(A)Mahaneh-dan^[a] to this day; behold, it is west of ^(B)Kiriath-jearim.

² And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from ^(A)Baale-judah ^(B)to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord of hosts ^(C)who sits enthroned on the cherubim.

¹⁷ And the people of Israel set out and reached their cities on the third day. ^(A)Now their cities were Gibeon, Chephirah, Beeroth, and Kiriath-jearim.
