¹⁹ She answered, “Give me a ^(A)blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

^14 (A)Now it happened, when she came to him, that ^[a]she urged him to ask her father for a field. And she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you wish?” ¹⁵ So she said to him, ^(B)“Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water.”

And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

⁵ Therefore I thought it necessary to ^[a]exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a ^[b]grudging obligation.

²⁷ And now ^(A)this present which your maidservant has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my lord.

⁷ And this he said of ^(A)Judah:

¹¹ Please, take ^(A)my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt ^(B)graciously with me, and because I have ^[a]enough.” ^(C)So he urged him, and he took it.
