¹⁷ Othniel son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it, and he gave him his daughter Achsah as wife.

⁹ But when the Israelites cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for the Israelites who delivered them, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.^(A)

¹³ And Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, took it, and he gave him his daughter Achsah as wife.^(A)

¹¹ So the land had rest forty years. Then Othniel son of Kenaz died.
