⁴¹ And Joshua defeated them from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza and all the country of Goshen, as far as Gibeon.^(A)

Summary of Joshua’s Conquests

¹⁶ So Joshua took all that land: the hill country and all the Negeb and all the land of Goshen and the lowland and the Arabah and the hill country of Israel and its lowland,^(A)

⁵¹ Goshen, Holon, and Giloh: eleven towns with their villages.^(A)

²³ And when the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, ‘Go up and occupy the land that I have given you,’ you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God, neither trusting him nor obeying him.

¹⁹ And the territory of the Canaanites extended from Sidon in the direction of Gerar as far as Gaza and in the direction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim as far as Lasha.^(A)

Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch
