²⁵ And Joshua said to them, ^(A)“Do not be afraid or dismayed; be strong and courageous. ^(B)For thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

^10 (A)He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. ^(B)On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

⁹ Have I not commanded you? ^(A)Be strong and courageous. ^(B)Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

The Whole Armor of God

¹⁰ Finally, ^(A)be strong in the Lord and in ^(B)the strength of his might.

³⁷ No, in all these things we are more than ^(A)conquerors through ^(B)him who loved us.

³⁷ And David said, ^(A)“The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, ^(B)and the Lord be with you!”

^6 (A)Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, ^(B)for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. ^(C)He will not leave you or forsake you.”

⁷ Then ^(D)Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, ^(E)“Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. ⁸ It is the Lord ^(F)who goes before you. He will be with you; ^(G)he will not leave you or forsake you. ^(H)Do not fear or be dismayed.”

¹⁹ the great trials that your eyes saw, ^(A)the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which the Lord your God brought you out. So will the Lord your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

²¹ And I commanded ^(A)Joshua at that time, ‘Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings. So will the Lord do to all the kingdoms into which you are crossing. ²² You shall not fear them, for it is ^(B)the Lord your God who fights for you.’
