And the Lord said to Joshua, (A)“Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, (B)I have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land.

Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid;(A) do not be discouraged.(B) Take the whole army(C) with you, and go up and attack Ai.(D) For I have delivered(E) into your hands the king of Ai, his people, his city and his land.

You shall be made (B)to eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and (C)seven periods of time shall pass over you, till (D)you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.

25 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox and be drenched(A) with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High(B) is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.(C)
