³ It goes out southward of ^(A)the ascent of Akrabbim, passes along to Zin, and goes up south of Kadesh-barnea, along by Hezron, up to Addar, turns about to Karka,

⁴ And your border shall turn south of ^(A)the ascent of Akrabbim, and cross to Zin, and its limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to ^(B)Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon.

³⁶ And the border of the Amorites ran from ^(A)the ascent of Akrabbim, from Sela and upward.

⁸ Your fathers did this, ^(A)when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.

The Death of Miriam

20 And the people of Israel, the whole congregation, came ^(A)into the wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh. And ^(B)Miriam died there and was buried there.
