John 6:35-59
New King James Version
35 And Jesus said to them, (A)“I am the bread of life. (B)He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never (C)thirst. 36 (D)But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet (E)do not believe. 37 (F)All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and (G)the one who comes to Me I will [a]by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, (H)not to do My own will, (I)but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, (J)that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, (K)that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Rejected by His Own
41 The Jews then [b]complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42 And they said, (L)“Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”
43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, [c]“Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 (M)No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me (N)draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, (O)‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ (P)Therefore everyone who [d]has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 (Q)Not that anyone has seen the Father, (R)except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, (S)he who believes [e]in Me has everlasting life. 48 (T)I am the bread of life. 49 (U)Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 (V)This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread (W)which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and (X)the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
52 The Jews therefore (Y)quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless (Z)you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 (AA)Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is [f]food indeed, and My blood is [g]drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood (AB)abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 (AC)This is the bread which came down from heaven—not (AD)as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

35 Jesus said to them, “(A)I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me (B)will never be thirsty. 36 But (C)I said to you that you have indeed seen Me, and yet you do not believe. 37 (D)Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out. 38 For (E)I have come down from heaven, (F)not to do My own will, but (G)the will of Him who (H)sent Me. 39 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of (I)everything that He has given Me I will (J)lose nothing, but will (K)raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who (L)sees the Son and (M)believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will (N)raise him up on the last day.”
Words to the Jews
41 (O)So then the Jews were complaining about Him because He said, “I am the bread that (P)came down out of heaven.” 42 And they were saying, “(Q)Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother (R)we know? How does He now say, ‘(S)I have come down out of heaven’?” 43 Jesus answered and said to them, “Stop complaining among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me (T)draws him; and I will (U)raise him up on the last day. 45 It is written (V)in the Prophets: ‘(W)And they shall all be (X)taught of God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me. 46 (Y)Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes (Z)has eternal life. 48 (AA)I am the bread of life. 49 (AB)Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the bread that (AC)comes down out of heaven, so that anyone may eat from it and (AD)not die. 51 (AE)I am the living bread that (AF)came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, (AG)he will live forever; and the bread which I will give (AH)for the life of the world also is (AI)My flesh.”
52 (AJ)Then the Jews (AK)began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of (AL)the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will (AM)raise him up on the last day. 55 For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56 The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood (AN)remains in Me, and I in him. 57 Just as the (AO)living Father (AP)sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread that (AQ)came down out of heaven, not as (AR)the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread (AS)will live forever.”
Words to the Disciples

John 6:35-59
King James Version
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
