John 6:32-51
New International Version
32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven(A) and gives life to the world.”
34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”(B)
35 Then Jesus declared, “I am(C) the bread of life.(D) Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes(E) in me will never be thirsty.(F) 36 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37 All those the Father gives me(G) will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven(H) not to do my will but to do the will(I) of him who sent me.(J) 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me,(K) but raise them up at the last day.(L) 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son(M) and believes in him shall have eternal life,(N) and I will raise them up at the last day.”
41 At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” 42 They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph,(O) whose father and mother we know?(P) How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”(Q)
43 “Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. 44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them,(R) and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’[a](S) Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. 46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God;(T) only he has seen the Father. 47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.(U) 48 I am the bread of life.(V) 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died.(W) 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven,(X) which anyone may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread(Y) that came down from heaven.(Z) Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”(AA)

32 Awo Yesu n’abagamba nti, “Ddala ddala mbagamba nti Musa si ye yabawa emmere eva mu ggulu, wabula Kitange ye yabawa emmere ey’amazima eva mu ggulu. 33 (A)Emmere ya Katonda ye eva mu ggulu, era ye awa ensi obulamu.”
34 (B)Ne bamugamba nti, “Mukama waffe, tuwenga emmere eyo buli lunaku.”
35 (C)Yesu n’abaddamu nti, “Nze mmere ey’obulamu. Ajja gye ndi enjala teriddayo kumuluma, era abo abanzikiriza tebaliddayo kulumwa nnyonta. 36 Naye nabagamba nti mundabye naye era ne mutanzikiriza. 37 (D)Buli muntu Kitange gw’ampa alijja gye ndi, era buli ajja gye ndi sirimugobera bweru. 38 (E)Kubanga ekyanzigya mu ggulu kwe kukola ekyo Katonda eyantuma ky’ayagala, so si Nze bye njagala ku bwange. 39 (F)Eyantuma ky’ayagala kye kino: Ku abo be yampa nneme kubulwako n’omu wabula bonna mbazuukize ku lunaku olw’enkomerero. 40 (G)Kubanga Kitange ky’ayagala kye kino nti buli alaba Omwana we n’amukkiriza afuna obulamu obutaggwaawo ku lunaku olw’enkomerero.”

41 Awo Abayudaaya ne batandika okwemulugunyiza Yesu, kubanga yabagamba nti, “Nze mmere eyava mu ggulu.” 42 (H)Ne bagamba nti, “Ono si ye Yesu omwana wa Yusufu? Kitaawe ne nnyina tubamanyi. Kale ayinza atya okugamba nti, ‘Nava mu ggulu?’ ”
43 Yesu n’abagamba nti, “Temwemulugunya. 44 (I)Tewali ayinza kujja gye ndi wabula nga Kitange eyantuma amuyise, era Nze ndimuzuukiza ku lunaku olw’enkomerero. 45 (J)Kubanga kyawandiikibwa mu bannabbi nti, ‘Bonna baliyigirizibwa Katonda.’ Era buli gw’ayigiriza n’ategeera amazima ajja gye ndi. 46 (K)Si kuba nti waliwo eyali alabye ku Kitange, wabula oyo eyava eri Katonda, ye yalaba Kitaawe. 47 Ddala ddala mbagamba nti, Akkiriza aba n’obulamu obutaggwaawo! 48 (L)Nze mmere ey’obulamu. 49 (M)Bajjajjammwe baalya emaanu mu ddungu ne bafa. 50 (N)Eno y’emmere eyava mu ggulu, buli agiryako aleme okufa. 51 (O)Nze mmere ennamu eyava mu ggulu omuntu bw’alya ku mmere eno aliba mulamu emirembe n’emirembe. Emmere gye ndigaba okuleetera ensi obulamu, gwe mubiri gwange.”
