Jesús echa a los mercaderes del templo
13 La Pascua de los judíos estaba cerca(A), y Jesús subió a Jerusalén(B). 14 (C)En el templo encontró a los que vendían bueyes, ovejas y palomas, y a los que cambiaban dinero allí sentados. 15 Y haciendo un látigo de cuerdas, echó a todos fuera del templo, con las ovejas y los bueyes; desparramó las monedas de los que cambiaban el dinero y volcó las mesas. 16 A los que vendían palomas les dijo(D): «Quiten esto de aquí; no hagan de la casa de Mi Padre(E)una casa de comercio».
17 Sus discípulos(F) se acordaron de que estaba escrito: «El celo por Tu casa me consumirá(G)».

13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
