2 ସୈନିକମାନେ କଣ୍ଟା ଗଛର ମୁକୁଟ ତିଆରି କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବାଇଗଣୀ ରଙ୍ଗର ପୋଷାକ ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ। 3 ସୈନିକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ବହୁତ ଥର ଆସିଲେ ଓ କହିଲେ, “ହେ! ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜା।” ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ଭପୁଡ଼ା ମାରିଲେ।
