⁸The disciples replied, “Rabbi, the Jewish opposition wants to stone you, but you want to go back?”

New International Version

⁸“But Rabbi,”^(A) they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you,^(B) and yet you are going back?”

⁸His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

⁸The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to ^(A)stone You, and are You going there again?”
