Jesus Affirms His Deity

³⁵ Jesus heard that they had ^(A)put him out, and after finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the ^(B)Son of Man?” ³⁶ He answered and said, “^(C)Who is He, ^[a]Lord, that I may believe in Him?” ³⁷ Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and ^(D)He is the one who is talking with you.” ³⁸ And he said, “Lord, I believe.” And he ^(E)worshiped Him. ³⁹ And Jesus said, “^(F)For judgment I came into this world, so that ^(G)those who do not see may see, and that ^(H)those who see may become blind.” ⁴⁰ Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, “^(I)Are we blind too?” ⁴¹ Jesus said to them, “^(J)If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now that you say, ‘^(K)We see,’ your sin remains.
