39 Sinabi pa ni Jesus, “Naparito ako sa mundo upang hatulan ang mga tao. Ang mga taong umaaming bulag sila sa katotohanan ay makakakita, ngunit ang mga nagsasabing hindi sila bulag sa katotohanan ay hindi makakakita.” 40 Narinig ito ng ilang Pariseong naroon, at nagtanong sila, “Sinasabi mo bang mga bulag din kami?” 41 Sumagot si Jesus, “Kung inaamin nʼyong mga bulag kayo sa katotohanan, wala sana kayong kasalanan. Ngunit dahil sinasabi ninyong hindi kayo bulag, nangangahulugan ito na may kasalanan pa rin kayo.”

New International Version
39 Jesus said,[a] “For judgment(A) I have come into this world,(B) so that the blind will see(C) and those who see will become blind.”(D)
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”(E)
41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.(F)
