John 9:33-35

³³If this man were not from God, he couldn’t have done it.”

³⁴“You were born a total sinner!” they answered. “Are you trying to teach us?” And they threw him out of the synagogue.

³⁵When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?^[a]”

9:35 Some manuscripts read the Son of God? “Son of Man” is a title Jesus used for himself.

³⁴To this they replied, “You were steeped in sin at birth;^(B) how dare you lecture us!” And they threw him out.^(C)

³⁵Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe^(D) in the Son of Man?”^(E)
