¹⁷ They said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?”

He said, ^(A)“He is a prophet.”

¹⁴ Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly ^(A)the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

¹⁹ The woman said to Him, “Sir, ^(A)I perceive that You are a prophet.

³⁸ how ^(A)God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who ^(B)went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, ^(C)for God was with Him.

²² For Moses truly said to the fathers, ^(A)‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. ²³ And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ ²⁴ Yes, and ^(B)all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also ^[a]foretold these days. ^25 (C)You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ^(D)‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ ²⁶ To you ^(E)first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, ^(F)in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

²² “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you ^(A)by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

¹⁹ And He said to them, “What things?”

So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, ^(A)who was a Prophet ^(B)mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

¹¹ So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, ^(A)the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”
