¹⁰ They asked, “Who healed you? What happened?”

³⁵ But someone may ask, “How will the dead be raised? What kind of bodies will they have?”

²⁶ “But what did he do?” they asked. “How did he heal you?”

²¹ but we don’t know how he can see or who healed him. Ask him. He is old enough to speak for himself.”

¹⁵ The Pharisees asked the man all about it. So he told them, “He put the mud over my eyes, and when I washed it away, I could see!”

⁹ “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked.

²⁷ Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens.

⁵ Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb,^[a] so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
