²⁶ I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but ^(A)He who sent Me is true; and ^(B)I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”

¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, ^(A)for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

^40 (A)But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth ^(B)which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.

²⁸ Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, ^(A)“You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and ^(B)I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me ^(C)is true, ^(D)whom you do not know.

⁴² But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. ⁴³ I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.

³² And ^(A)what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. ³³ He who has received His testimony ^(B)has certified that God is true.

¹¹ of whom ^(A)we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become ^(B)dull of hearing.

Spiritual Immaturity

¹² For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the ^[a]oracles of God; and you have come to need ^(C)milk and not solid food.

¹⁸ But as God is ^(A)faithful, our ^[a]word to you was not Yes and No.

⁸ For I have given to them the words ^(A)which You have given Me; and they have received them, ^(B)and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that ^(C)You sent Me.

¹² “I still have many things to say to you, ^(A)but you cannot bear them now.
