32 The Pharisees heard the crowd [a]whispering these things about Him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent (A)officers to (B)seize Him. 33 Therefore Jesus said, “(C)For a little while longer I am with you, then (D)I go to Him who sent Me. 34 (E)You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.” 35 (F)The Jews then said to one another, “(G)Where does this man intend to go that we will not find Him? Is He intending to go to (H)the Dispersion among (I)the Greeks and teach the Greeks? 36 What is this statement that He said, ‘(J)You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come’?”

Officers are Sent to Arrest Jesus
32 The Pharisees heard the crowd debating these things about him, so the high priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest Jesus.[a]
33 Then Jesus said, “I’ll be with you only a little while longer, and then I’m going back to the one who sent me. 34 You’ll look for me but won’t find me.[b] And where I am, you cannot come.”
35 Then the Jewish leaders[c] asked one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we won’t be able to find him? Surely he’s not going to the Dispersion[d] among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, is he? 36 What does this statement mean that he said, ‘You’ll look for me but won’t find me,’ and, ‘Where I am, you cannot come’?”
